Mayor Tony Petelos & Hoover City Council invite you to Celebrate Hoover Day!  The event will be held at Veterens Park on Valleydale Road Sunday, May 3, 2009.  The event is free, so bring family and friends and come celebrate.  Some activities include: Veterens Memorial Annual Paver Dedication, Arch Duncan the Magician performance, Alabama Blues Brothers Car Show, Free Blue Bell ice cream, free bottled water.  Expansive Exhibitor Pavilion with more than 100 local business displays, Kids Zone with inflatables and train rides, Lowe's "hot to" clinic for kids, Birmingham Zoo animal exhibits.  Event is sponsored by ABC 33/40, The Birmingham News, The Eagle 106.9 and al.com.
