Record breaking hiker of the Applachian Trail Jennifer Pharr Davis, who beat the 2005 overall record of 47 days for hiking the Applachian Trail (on July 31, 2011) will speak at Jefferson State Community College at the Health and Sciences Building, located on the corner of Valleydale Road and Jaguar Drive. She will discuss her book "Becoming Odyssa". Davis finished the 2,181-mile trail in 46 days, 11 hours and 20 minutes.
