Historic Marker erected in 2004
 

This cemetery was established June 2, 1849 by veteran of the War of 1812, Loftin Quinn. "In Consideration of His Love for the Church He Conveyed the Burying Ground to the Trustees of Liberty Church And Their Successors. The Cemetery is listed on the Alabama Historic Cemetery Register. The historic sign was erected by the friends of Old Quinn Burying Ground in 2004.

To find the Old Quinn Cemetery located on Whisenhunt Road, look for the historical marker at the intersection of Whisenhunt Road and Highway 47 in Chelsea.
