This public 18-hole championship course (par 72) was designed by Earl Stone. The course is repeatedly rated by Golf Digest to be among the top 50-75 public courses in the United States, Oak Mountain has hosted qualifying rounds for the Alabama Open.

Located on the State's largest State Park grounds, many golfers share their golf game with the Park's many animals that roam the grounds.
